could somebody give me directions to the halfmoon landing on the mississippi? also long time ago i went to somewhere i think it was called the alma dike or somethin? just wonderin if someone knew the directions to those places thanks 
Alma dike road is the road the goes across to Wisconsin through Wabasha. It’s road # 25. Go to Google maps and type in West Newton, MN and it will show this town. The spot you are looking for is on West Newton Road just north on West Newton

The dike itself is probably closed to foot traffic because the COE is just starting a project to reinforce the dike. If you have a small boat, you can access the water below the dike via the Finger Lakes landing, which is 2-3 blocks south of the dike.
