Just got home to find a letter from Warden Stone in my mail box. Pretty cool that he took the time to write back to me and all of the folks who took the time to write to him early this spring.
He detailed all of the actions taken against the Poachers who stole our fish. Kind of a re-cap of events that we here at FTR already know about.
Just really nice that he personally followed up. Goes to show that a few folks can make a difference.

What do you folks think of asking the good Warden Stone and maybe some of his friends to be our guest(s) of honor at the next FTR get-together. I believe that meeting these gentleman can do nothing but help all of us be better member the the ‘fishing society’.
Open for debate? I am vote number one for the good guys.

yeah… I think its a great Idea…. and we could bring in some fisheries people too….. I wish I had thought to personally invite John Pitlo…. as his contributions and expertise are much appreciated…. I really wish we could have encouraged him to attend……. and Warden Stone has been great…. he also wrote me about these poachers…. and has responded to every question I have asked him….. hes been very helpful……
