WI rules concerning VHS “prohibits the transportation of live fish or fish eggs from waters of the Great Lakes or the Mississippi River drainage or across State lines. And to top it off both MN and WI have now prohibited the import of live minnows from another state. As I read on this if you put in on the WI. side you should only fish the WI. side if you where to go across the state line with fish in your possession you would be in violation. The some if you put in on the MN. side As I undertand it, if you’re launching on the MN side you need to have minnows purchased in MN. If you’re launching on the WI side you need to have minnows purchased in WI. Is there any one that may have the dottom line on this.
