UNBELIEVABLY SAD DAY

Now is when we are going to find out who our real friends are. I don`t put much faith in Iran and Libya condemning the attack, they`re just kissing up to keep from getting hit. But take a look around the world. People all over the globe are on our side. The world is not a safe place as long as religious fanatics can lure suicide bombers into their web with a promise of seeing Allah if they give their life. Bin Laden congratulates the hijackers but denies involvement. Sure, I beleive him.

This isn`t going to end with one shot to the head, or one bombing raid, or one cruise missle. The USA has to flex it`s muscles and get tough on everybody that poses a threat to our country. It has to be a continuous effort not just a response. Time to start a little house cleaning. Not just for us, but for the good of the entire world. Everybody is vulnerable. Everybody is a potential target.

Good will win out over evil. Have faith in that.

Let the people on the West Bank have a party and say “Bullseye.” It won`t be long before some American pilot is saying the same thing.

I don`t blame all Arabs or Muslims, but the people who support these acts must be made to see that if they perpetrate violent acts against America, they will pay with their lives.

Now that they`ve brought the fight to America, it`s time to take the fight to them.

In the meantime, I`ll be praying for peace and for Gods help and guidance. Things will never be the same, perhaps they will get better, much better, now that America is pulling together. History has shown the world before……don`t mess with the US.

The perpetraters whoever they were have as a goal, to instill more hatred in a never ending circle. Let’s all make sure that we don’t enlarge the circle. Justice with proof yes, revenge without . No thank you. Let’s all remember, you and I like everyone born does not decide what flag they will be born under. We were given an unearned blessing to be born into or having become American citizens and have huge responsibilities that go with it. One is to prove justice and democracy work for all. To hate or deride anyone because of their personal heritage or non- violent beliefs is not going to help anyone. I hope and pray that Justice will be done, and that God will comfort the families of the casualties and give the Americans investigating this evil event guidance in finding and trying those responsible. Well put Lawrence! I am as angry as anyone, but I have already witnessed anti-Arab sentiment gone awry. My daughter was in the hospital, her Dr. is Arabic. She had a daughter right across the street from the WTC, and was more terrified and afraid than most due to this. While waiting to hear from her daughter, she was riduculed, leered at, and verbally abused. This treatment of a wonderful Christian woman is as unexcusable as the attack. We do have to remember that this country’s greatness is partly due to it’s diversity of people, and all have the same rights!

As I sit in California, waiting to catch a flight home, I think of

all the dead and wounded. There are so many people that have lost loved ones, we must keep those people in our thoughts and prayers. Now is not the time to spread hate and

racism. We need to have faith in our leaders that they will

find and punish those behind this cowardly act. Now is the time to do something for other, give blood or send a $20 to

the Red Cross. I know all of us would love to take these guys

deer hunting, but we need to make sure we do not spread

hate to those who do not deserve it.

Very true guys…………the arabic and muslam peoples in this country are, for the most part, here because they don’t care for their home land. In fact, I’ve never talked to one that didn’t think all those leaders are crazy and power driven fanatics. They dislike Sadham, Bin Laden, Gadoffey………….(spell check!!) even more than us, because they feel these guys are why they have to find a home somewhere else. No one’s forcing us to look for a new country, so there’s one more thing to give thanks for. This is a time for action, but not from untrained, uninformed civilians. It’s hard to hold in all the anger, and it’s all the more difficult when you know your place because it makes you feel helpless. Patience, trust, and wisdom are more important now than ever……………God help us all.
