I just got off of another website dedicated to fishing and
I just had to say this quickly. This site is one of the most friendly and educational sites that I have seen.
It is far and away the one I spend most of my time on but recently I have gone and checked a few others out. I have found them full of persons with BIG egos who are unwilling to give any useful info out and are quick to BIG TIME anyone trying to do so.
JAMES, you and the entire staff do a GREAT JOB with this site.
Thanks it has put many more fish, and fishing friends in my boat!
    BIG THANKS

I agree whole-heartedly! I actually find myself reluctant to surf because it’s real obvious in many cases that the unconventional vision exists over here. I have to wonder, if these “others” strongly believe that a site like this wrecks fishing “as we know it”, why do they bother with the internet at all? This is the Information Age…………..so much so that no one even blinks at the term anymore. He who gives the best info wins the game! Without information……….the internet literally has little practical purpose.

Thanks is deserved for all who do the behind the scenes contributions, all the staff members with their support, information, and assistance, and of course…………all of you who also help make this site the magical place it is!

Its the person who has made their first post to the person who has made many who make this site what it is today. Its everyone sharing and helping others. Its not just an information place, its like a family place where friends, both old and new, can come together, share info, ask questions, answer questions, and feel at home doing it. No bashing, just acceptence of where each person is in their fishing experience and understanding that no one person will ever know it all so we value each and every bit of information each one shares with the rest of us. We all hold pieces of the fishing puzzle and each piece needs to be put in place [shared] to help understand the big picture. Thanks to all who share, for we all learn from you. Thanks to all who will someday share, as we need your piece of the big picture puzzle too. Thanks, Bill

geeee I should join THIS list of posters… so we can have a clean sweep of the most prolific posters!….. and you have nailed the reason why I have been so active on this site… it fullfills my needs and wishes so much better than any other site Ive ever seen…. and I dont bother to surf much anymore… I dont NEED to surf much anymore… my resource is the people on this site and their willingness to share…. my 2 main needs are to be able to LEARN and have FUN!!…. this site has given me those 2 items from day one!.. you dont have to be in the “IN” crowd…. just being on this board put you there!… I have made more friends and learned more about fishing the river in the 3 years on this site than I learned in my prior… ummmm…. hmmmmmm…. ok… lets just say LOTS and LOTS of years….. more than I want to say….. thanks to everyone who has made this possible!… its great knowing that I can find a fishing partner for the day in a few minutes!… and sometimes they are someone Ive never met before and thats great…… there are many ways to learn on this site… and I would like to say if there are any unregistered people reading this post you are MISSING out… yes, you can learn a LOT from just reading the posts…. but once your a member, THEN you are “IN”…. and your going to get PM’s… your going to get fishing offers, and go on new water with new people… dont underestimate the power to learn and have fun those two options provide…….
ok… Im stepping off the soap box now….. NEXT!!!
