have a 1750 crestliner jonboat, max HP is a 40hp tiller. Will mostly be on the Mississippi and local rivers(shallow). There might be a pretty good deal on a new 4 stroke 30hp Suzuki, pull start,coming up in the next couple weeks. Would this be enough HP? or should i go for a good 40HP used?
