You can find the results under the Live Leader Board on Walleye Central. My partner and I had the privilege to fish this tournament. All I can say is that the area rolled out the carpet for everyone and the fishing was remarkable. Cabela’s really put on a heck of a show and there was not an empty seat in the grandstand for the weigh-ins.

Great time and a great walleye lake. You would not connect Kansas with walleyes, but they got alot of big fish there.Guys ,,Milford lake. Put it down on your places to fish!!!! John Mannerino

    jimsiewert,
looking at the final results – it appears you experienced quite a day 2 improvement from day 1 weight.
Care to share what adjustment was made?

I dont know if weighing 2 fish insted of one is any major inprovement but saturday was a better trolling bite. Alot of short fish[17″ers] was caught. We were pulling spinner rigs with spin-n-glow`s on 2 rods and cranks off of 3 way rigs on the other 2. We had alot of doubles on. It was hard to keep the white bass and the wipers off the lines all day. John

    Phish Finder:
To be honest, we really did not do much different than the previous day. Tommy and I “lost” at the boat an 8 + fish and three fish in the 4 – 5lb range. We were pulling leadcore over flooded timber wit h #7 shad raps. About the only suggestive difference is on day one, we used oversized Mustad Triple Grip Trebles hooks on our Shad Raps. For some unknown reason, we were losing the fish (on other Body of waters, including Lake Pepin, this is a huge benefit). On day 2 we used the standard hooks that come wit h Rapala’s and we only lost one 8 + fish (bummer again).
We did go out a little deeper as the shores were getting pounded pretty heavy and I do not think those fish were use to all the pressure in the shallows. Jim Siewert
