How many of you troll with size 7 ShapRaps? It seems like the size 5 gets all of the use around here. I used to tear them up on the size 7’s here and in Canada.

Depends on the depth and whether I’m using leadcore, mono or fireline. The #5 works great if I’m trolling a shallow shoreline or if the area is snaggy as then I can run the crankbait up off the bottom some. If I want to pound/bump the bottom then the #7 works great. If you are fishing a shallow shoreline with long rods then you could try a #5 on the shore side and a #7 on the deeper side of the boat. There are lots of ways to mix it up so to speak. Let us know how you do and what worked for you on your next fishing outting. Thanks, Bill

Fished the Wing Dams again today from about noon till 3. Had a great time! Used nightcrawlers and Size 7 Shad Raps. The Shad Raps took the bigger fish today. 5 Fish between 22-24″ on the Size 7. Dams are heating up! The size 7 seems to run about 8-10 feet? Sound right? Anyway, they are working. I’ll be hittin them again in the
AM. Get out there and getem.

I ran a chrome 5 Sunday with a 5/8 slip sinker ahead. Got one nice one on the sand flats, break from 8-12 of water.
