English River Kenora Ontario

My dad is fishing this next week. Anyone know the English up here? Fast current/slow current, forage base for walleye, common depths, holes, blah blah blah?

I have fished this area a bit a couple of years ago. My buddy just came back from there. Great fishery. Last time up we got 3 6#ers and 2 9#ers. The current is very quick in the middle but there are a lot of back waters that you can sneek into and do better. Where are you putting in up there. I can maybe give you better info then.

They will be fishing Indian Lake and Ball Lake (wide parts of the English River). I guess the guy he is going with has fished it for years in the spring but never in the fall.

I am thinking that the fish will be on an ordinary mid-late fall lake pattern.
