    O.M.F.T.,

I live in the Annandale area, actually in live on Lake John and this area is great for panfish. Here is a list of lakes starting with the best panfish lake: Clearwater, John, Cedar, and Pleasant. Clearwater has a resort on it, Maple Hill resort, and its a nice place. Perfect for families. Hope this helps. JonN

I would agree with Jon that Annandale area has great pan fish lakes. I live outside of St.Cloud and fish a few of those lake mentioned, and more times than not do real well.

I especially like to winter fish Ceder, ahhhh the memories I have about those days.

    Anyway, good suggestion Jon.

I highly recommend. Good area all together for a family vacation.

Clear Lake in Waseca, MN is a great panfish lake. It has a resort, Keislers, and docks to fish off of. Good Largemouth Bass too. Lots of walk-fishable shoreline, and parks. Hawger

    Hey Dman,

Do you fish the Mississippi in the St. Cloud area? Man, what a stretch of under fished water! JonN

Hey Hawger, how late in the year do the panfish on Clear Lake and Cedar Lake stay shallow? My oldest grandaughter [the one with me at the FTR get together] just loves to catch panfish. Thanks, Bill
