Curious about what is happening down on Pepin!? Haven’t heard much lately, fish still holding near current edges?

    Jim,

Most of the nicer fish that were weighed in at the FTR get together reportedly came from the river sections of pool 4. We spend a few hours down in the lake and did not do well on the walleyes. We could not keep the sheepshead off the cranks. Our only walleye came out of the WI channel.

    Hope that helps,

    J.

Jim, Jon J. is right the better fishing has been up in to the river I have not heard of anyone doing anything on the lake in the last couple of weeks. The fishing has been a little slower lately but fish are still being caught using a variety of presentations, don’t spend to much time in one spot unless you get bit somedays it takes a lot of moving around and being in the right place at the right time. The fish seem to be pretty scattered right now a few here and a few there.Rigging crawlers or leeches has been the best presentation for me the last few times on the water and trolling cranks a close second.

    See ya on the river!

    Dustin
