    Hi guys,

Planning on coming down this Sunday and would like to put in at Colville park. Can I assume that the docks are in and the ramp is useable? Also, its been awhile since I’ve put in there, about how far past Red Wing is the turn off? Thanks for your responses.

    p.s.

I’m splashing my new boat for the first time, is it crowded early, say between 7-8 am?

The docks are in and good to go. Been putting in there for quite a while now. I don’t know exactly how far it is. but I would guess a couple miles. Its the first right heading south after you go under the bridge leaving Red Wing.

    hey ottertail,
i’m thinking that it’ll be pretty packed by 7-8:00 in the morning . it gets light out by 5:15 now a days. if you want to beat the crowds on a saturday, be there by 4:30 a.m. it won’t be busy then, i gaurantee it.

I know there is a tournament (Island Invitational) but i dont think they put in at Coville, not sure however. The docks are in great shape, lots of tournaments have been held there already. I would recommend using the inside landing towards the docked boats, less trees and rocks on that side. Just a thought! Hope the new one runs great and puts fish in the boat also for you!
The weekends are usually busy, maybe by 7-8 wont be too bad, since it does get light out early, who knows, have to take a chance I guess!
    Good Luck
