Is there such thing as a fishing map of pools 9 and 10? I see there is a Hot Spots map of pool 4, but it appears nothing on the other pools.

I’ve talked to Hot Spots about this very problem. They made maps of 6,7,8, 9 and 10 several years ago, but have cancelled any current books on those pools because they haven’t had a chance to update. Your only shot is finding someone that has an old Hot Spots map, or another company. There’s a few others out there, but aren’t quite as detailed. You could also check out the army corps of engineers maps on their website. An email or phone call to Hot Spots might help in the long run as well!

The corps makes a nice map- more for navigation but i bought one that covers all of the river from the headwaters to where the locks stop- it has a cd rom and a hard copy. It is large and cumbersome at times, but works well. There are not any depth readings on it.

Also, I ran into a guy fishing the Federation tour out of minn last year (or maybe the year before- the regional was held on 9 and 10) who had some color coded depth maps he downloaded from the net (he claims to have spent over 100 hours searching) which showed which backwaters held water. Of course, he was unable to give me a short cut to finding it and I dont have the time.

Anyway, try the corp website or contact them for a hard copy. Good luck, and if you find something better let us know.

    ACOE Maps

Let me know if you find something with depth info on it. I would be very interested in such a beast.
