    Ken, I just got home from a special run to Evert’s to pick up a copy of the video, with the video being such a hot item, I didn’t trust our fishing fool mailman. The popcorn is popping, just crack a cold one and what a perfect evening to watch something you wish your doing! I really feel bad for all of you! Did I make you feel better?…LOL

    Well Stevie, even though I ordered one within 10 minutes of getting a note from James, I still have no video so maybe they are just taking orders via the store?? and will produce them later?? hope not, but I may have to drive up there and get one, just to see it! Doesn’t sound like anybody who ordered via email has received it yet. The address said Rochester, I live here, kind of expected it within 2 days. Maybe tomorrow….

    Oh is that how the store works now, you but a order in and you go pick your own order up. So where does a guy go pick his kalins up that was ordered a week ago? Kind of shots that 48 hour thing all to hell. As for the viedo some of us don’t live across town and can go get it when we want it.

    I’m not sure how we confirmed our poor service… our standing track record of providing nothing short of premium service to hundreds of customers and thousands of visitors to this site will attest to our past performance. I’ve had lost orders with Cabelas, miss-packed orders with Bass Pro… stuff happens. To all companies. Even the really good one’s that take customer satisfaction and prompt fulfillment of orders very seriously…. In-Depth Angling is one of those companies.

    In-Depth Angling contracted with B-Fish-N Tackle to ship internet orders… and that company was sold this past week and has resulted in a massive re-organization of the company. I do expect this sale and these changes to the owenership to be a move in the right direction… but it came at a bad time for the release of this video.

    I just spoke with the BFT and the situation has been remedied and the shipment of the orders for videos is their #1 priority. All orders will be shipped within 24 hours of this post. I apologize for any inconvenience or concern this may have caused anyone… this mess was unanticipated and was corrected as fast as we could address it.

    To those that have posted here, we certainly appreciate your patience.

    All right. Just a repeat. As I said back on Saturday, the videos are all going out today and tomorrow. For those of you who ordered, the logistics are that we didn’t know the type of packaging they’d be in until Thursday afternoon when they arrived. We spent the weekend coordinating orders and now they’re being processed and packaged for shipment.

    We at B Fish N Tackle appreciate everyone’s patience. It’s been a tough time getting all of the merchandise into the shop and processed correctly. I’ve been trying to keep up with everything and if you have any problems with your orders, I’ll just say that you can expect them this week. Two items caused a delay. The first was that all merchandise is now packaged a little differently, as many of you saw in orders received last week.

    The other was that we’ve been trying to make sure that we were able to process mailorders without giving a huge break in service.

    I’m hoping that both problems have been addressed and solved. Please feel free to call if you have additional problems. A glitch or two, but we’re up and rolling. The videos ordered thus far will be in everyones’ hands midweek. Anything that doesn’t arrive, please let me know.

    I think you guys are doing a great job! I spoke with Mike tonight, and I will have my copy before the weekend. I called dad tonight and told him that I would have something for us to watch on Easter. He said that we’d have to stop it occasionally to check on the leg of lamb that will be in the roaster. I told him that I will watch the lamb, because I’m sure I will have watched the video many many times before Easter!

    Further update here.

    We’ve packaged up all of the orders through yesterday for video tapes and such. Going out via USPS in the morning. All orders filled. Hopefully the service can only improve from here. Thanks to everyone for their patience.

    Mike and James, THANK YOU for posting and telling us what was going on. You “do know” a bunch of us have been itching for this video now for a few months, ever since you told us it was in production. Naturally, after we ordered it, the reality of mail, shipping, packing, logistics was immediately forgotten. We all thought you’d “beam them down” to us….. Maybe in the future

    Actually, I figured that the dematerializer we set up in the back of the shop would do the beaming, but it’s broke. And I can’t fix it until next January. Fishing season has started and it’s darned near impossible to find the ‘dematerilizer tech guy’. James was guiding him last week and then he just disappeared.

    Good one there Mike….we figured it was something like that. Nobody’s criticizing anything here as far as I can tell, just a bunch of anxious guys wanting “their” copy of the video as fast as possible.
