I discovered these things earlier in the year and found them to be very useful in the boat. They are the Velcro Straps that are designed just like a plastic wire tie. Unlike a plastic wire tie, these things can be used over and over again. They come in several widths and lengths. I use them the keep the anchor rope rolled up neatly. They work great for keeping rods in place on the boat. I use one on my T-Motor to keep the wire that runs from the head of the unit to the motor base from bouncing around. I use another one to keep the foot pedal wire coiled nicely. I use one to attach my sunglasses to the dash when I’m not wearing them. There are literally hundreds of uses for these straps.

(I get them at Fleet Farm in the same isle as the plastic wire ties)

What’s the best new thing you have come across lately??

Hmmm, the best thing I have come across lately????

I would have to say the Coors light 12 pack that acts like a cooler. They really do.

You gotta check them out…if you like coors light.. You just pull the top off, fill with ice and you’ve got a cooler. I saw one on tv the other night.

Tried the same stunt with a 12 of Diet Dew……………….I think the soda jerks could take a lesson! Now………….if we take Jon’s discovery and combine it with Dman’s favorite new gizmo, you should have a pretty good lock on the “projectiles”! I do like the boat towels and things like that I see now……………keeps that fish smell off my jeans! (Leave it ALONE!…………….lol) Now, if someone can come with pre-sharpened or self-sharpening muskie lures, THAT’D be a breakthrough! :O)

Oh……………..now I wouldn’t go that far cuz I know whoever did that for me would never hand the rod over! But I’m thinking if someone would clean them for me I’d be just as pleased! Hmmm…………… musky loaf without all the work! Thanks for the great idea Chappy! Would you be available in about 3 weeks? :O)
