I discovered these things earlier in the year and found them to be very useful in the boat. They are the Velcro Straps that are designed just like a plastic wire tie. Unlike a plastic wire tie, these things can be used over and over again. They come in several widths and lengths. I use them the keep the anchor rope rolled up neatly. They work great for keeping rods in place on the boat. I use one on my T-Motor to keep the wire that runs from the head of the unit to the motor base from bouncing around. I use another one to keep the foot pedal wire coiled nicely. I use one to attach my sunglasses to the dash when I’m not wearing them. There are literally hundreds of uses for these straps.
(I get them at Fleet Farm in the same isle as the plastic wire ties)
What’s the best new thing you have come across lately??
