    I’m wondering where is a free access in Red Wing?? Is Baypoint park free??? Thanks guys!!

    Both Bay Point and Colvile are free access’s. Colvile has a double ramp and lots of parking places. Go get em [the walleyes]. Bill

    Thanks Bill!! I fished the Red Wing area with James this spring, but we had to use the WI channel access due to ice. I’m hoping to get very familiar with that area this fall.

    Last time I fished out of Red Wing in Baypoint Park there was a sign posted that said it was going to be closed in August. No reason was given. Anyone validate this has happened?

    Two weeks ago it was “Red Wing Crazy Days” and last weekend it was the “Walk for Life” cancer fund drive. There are probaby a couple more planned comunity events comming up.

    There was a Bass Tourney out of Colville last weekend too. Event though there were probaby close to a hundred boats running out of there, we still had no problem getting in or out.

    Stay on 61 through downtown Red Wing. Go one mile after going under the ramp at the end of town. Take a right at the sign for Colevill. (Yellow Letters on Brown background. There is also a Days Inn right there too.) Take another quick right and down the hill, back under highway 61 and your there.
