I am going to go to Red Wing on Sunday and Monday (18th birthday) and have a few questions?
1. Is there any good sauger fishing or any other fish up around the top 1 or 2 miles before the dam or even at the dam any specie will do it’s my dad and I.
2. Going to the casino for the night and want to know if there is a harbor I can leave my boat over night attended or a place I can park it.

Don’t know about the fishing , but i beleive as long as your staying at the casino that you can stay in their docking area free of charge .(I Think)
well i think if you bounce a piece of cut biate off bottom a lot like they do for catching sauger in the fall/spring you will catch cats in the tailrace area….. below the dam…. use a big chub and cut it’s tail off or cut up a nice suckers in bite size pieces…..good luck
