I just got in to river fishing for walleyes and was just wondering is anyone had any information(phone number) about fishing off some sort of barge/pier below the dam in Alma?

I would like add my kudos to the float. Where else can you go and fish, eat, drink coffee, visit, play cards or just sit in the sun. Even for boaters sometimes its the best place on the river to catch fish. Right now the night bite is excellent. They will even clean and cook your catch for you. They also have all the live bait you need and a good selection of jigs. Goout and see them you won’t be sorry.

Too bad the float by L & D #7 isn’t like that. Sounds like they could learn a lesson or two from those people. Too many times I’ve been out and watched the guy that owns the float chastise someone for fishing too close or tying up to his float. It’s really sad to see something with so much potential fall so short. Especially when the bar is being constantly raised elsewhere.
