If you are talking now, the south end of pool 4 in the Wabasha area, and pools 5 and 5a would be the closest for you. shoreline fishing might be limited tho. the backwaters will also be melting quickly and may not be available for any ice fishing now or soon. There is a fishing float or barge just below the Alma dam, that I think a shuttle boat takes people back and forth from shore on the east side. am sure some pike can be caught off of it along with walleye and sauger.
