    I WANT TO DO SOME PIKE FISHING AND HAVE NEVER TRYED FISHING FOR PIKE BUT IM GOING TO GIVE IT A TRY.I WAS WANTING TO KNOW WHERE YOU WOULD FIND THEM THIS TIME OF YEAR AND WHAT TO USE . I WILL BE FISHING FOR THEM FROM THE MISSISSIPPI SHORE. I WILL ALSO BE WILLING TO TAKE OTHER SEGESTIONS ON DIFFFERENT LOCATION. I LIVE IN SCOTT COUNTY CANT TRAVEL FAR

    If you are talking now, the south end of pool 4 in the Wabasha area, and pools 5 and 5a would be the closest for you. shoreline fishing might be limited tho. the backwaters will also be melting quickly and may not be available for any ice fishing now or soon. There is a fishing float or barge just below the Alma dam, that I think a shuttle boat takes people back and forth from shore on the east side. am sure some pike can be caught off of it along with walleye and sauger. Hopefully someone more familiar with those area will chime in and help you. good luck. keep us posted if you go. Jack..
