    Thanks, Jack..

Pool 2 94? I assume you mean 494, Haven’t been by in awhile, but both lillydale ans Hidden falls should both be in decent shape, no dock at either of these locations.

As of tonight… I believe the sign read that the road to 494 ramp would be closed May 3rd.

That would be starting May 3rd. Someone may want to correct me if I’m wrong — my tired brain’s not thinking clearly.

On a side note… the walleyes were biting on Pool 2 today.

THe ramp was open for me all last week. Have not seen the road closed signs as of yet…..but I will keep my eyes peeled this week as I will be down there 4 days this week again.

    Big E,
Care to share techinques used to boat your fish? I have been still pitching jigs to shallow current breaks for the nicer fish, and draggin jig and crawlers for more numbers.

Steve, my report is very similar to the other Pool 2 thread. I got my fish Sunday fishing cranks (Bombers and Jr. Thundersticks) along shoreline rocks. A couple spots were at the intersection of a wingdam and shore. I’d get a fish or two per spot. No big girls, but all fish over 20″. Fish hit faily aggressively – I was a little surprised given the water temps had dropped 4 degrees over the weekend.

I also was a little surprised on how the fish were holding in heavier current. I almost bypassed a couple of early spots — glad I gave them a look.

This rain will certainly get the river changing once again. Withouth the rain, the wingdam-crankbait bite would’ve soon been in full swing. Probably put that pattern on hold for a couple weeks.

    Thanks Elliot!
Good to see that bite develop for you. Hopefully there still will be a crank bite of somekind with the high water, just the spots will change a bit. I will be out most of this week, hopefully I will have some positive results!
