Walleye Searchers is again pleased to have these two great speakers at their annual Spring Seminar. The seminar is free and at the Elk’s Lodge in Rochester, MN at 7 PM Monday 3/24.

In past years our Spring Seminar has drawn between 200-300 people so come early and bring your friends and family. There will be several raffles with outstanding prizes, plus we guarantee a good time. Here is a link for more information about the seminar:

    http://www.walleyesearchers.com/seminarflyer2003.html

The primary purpose of the seminar is to get fishermen to join the Walleye Searchers club. There will be a special discount on the day of the seminar; it will cost only $20 for the 2003 membership. Click on the below link if you need a map to the Elk’s or more information about the activities of the Walleye Searchers club.

Local business/individuals may show/sell fishing related merchandise at the seminar. We do not charge to do this and a free table will be provided. All we ask is that you send an e-mail to [email protected] indicating the type of fishing merchandise you intend to sell and that NO selling be done while the speakers are giving their presentation.

This year our seminar will be smoke free. For those of you wanting to smoke during the break, it is permitted in the bar area of the Elk’s Lodge.

I have been invited to attend the Rochester chapter of Walleye Searchers Monday night meeting and to bring B-Fish-N Tackle products to display and sell.
I am going to use the event to premier the H2O Precision Jig. My plan is to knock about 20% off the suggested retail cost for the Holst & Tuckner seminar event.
Thanks guys for the invite, I am looking forward to hearing Chris and James speak and getting to visit some.

I will give the Elks a call and check on the overhead for you, I think they do have one.

    Chris,
I believe you are talking about the Infocus http://www.infocus.com digital projector that projects whatever is on your computer. Not the old fashion projector for foils (that is what I believe the Elk’s have). I do not know of anyone in the club with an Infocus projector. If anyone has one that Chris can use, please speak up ASAP.

    Steve O,

Excuse this “self serving” information… but so many of you have stated you want these jigs here on the EFN forums… that I am compelled to post this timely information.

It is available to you right now… by mail order through B-Fish-N Tackle. They are not in the EFN Outlet Store yet.

I hope to have these in retail locationas such as Everts, very soon. I will be talking to other shops about carring it as well, such as Gander Mountain and Scheels Sports.

I figure most the retail locations that now carry the B-Fish-N Tackle plastics will likely stock this jig in the near future … “BFT” plastics are now available at:

    Everts Resort – Hager City

    4 Seasons Sports – Redwing

    Hooked on Fishing – Rochester

Faribault Bait & Tackle – Faribault

Joes Sporting Goods, Mpls (very soon to arrive)

    Gander Mountain (11 stores)

Scheels Sports – College Square Store, Cedar Falls, IA

Cost for package of 10 (all one size and same color) is $4.99

They are in the following colors:

    Pearl / Pink

    Pear / Purple

    Pearl / Blue

    Pearl / Chartreuse

    Chartreuse / Flourscent Red

    Glow / Green

    Pearl

    Black

They are in the following sizes:

    3/32, 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8

Shipping (Mn residents pay .065% tax)

The H2O Precision Jig is a very high quality “wire keeper” style plastics jig. It is made with a durable paint job and a Mustad’s finest Ultra Point hook.

I think many will consider this to be the finest river jig made for plactics.

    Chris,
if you are talking about the kind that Dave refered to the Elks lodge does not have one, all they have is the overhead projector to show foils. The rental depot has one but it is $225 a day

Excellent seminar put on by the club as well as Chris and James. As a club, the walleye searchers really impressed me,they put on some great speakers, invited people to sell much needed river gear, and just made everyone feel welcome.

By the end of the night, I was very impressed and was compelled to join. I am looking very forward to meeting and fishing with you guys. Thanks a lot for a fun and educational evening.
