Pool 8 Landing

    Any body know if landing by dam on pool 8 is open yet? If not is there another landing close by. Might be able to get out for a few hours tomorrow and that is closest. Thanks.

    Are you wondering about the landings by the # 7 Dam? If so, both landings by the #7 Dam are locked up with ice. You have to push out as far as the long wall.

    The landing has been open for the last 3 weeks there were over 200 boats there last weekend. Wish myboat was ready I would like to get there myself.

    Thanks. I’m talking about the landing by the wayside rest off 90 just before you cross into Wisc. Kind of figured it would still be iced in. Have to wait till weekend and try someplace else.

    That landing opened up yesterday. I couldn’t beleive it. I’ve never seen it open up that fast. Hopefully you will be able to get out and do some damage.

    Did that make my day. There is a slight chance I might be able to get out this afternoon if the rain holds off.
