Had a great time pitching K-grubs on sunday. We went looking for walleyes, but ended up targeting largemouth. I have never got in to them in March, but I am not complaining! By the end of the day, we tallied 6 largies-with largest measuring up at 19″.(See attached pic).
Every be safe out there and don’t burn up all my bass. LOL

Attached eye was a plump 22″
Where were you at? I am guessing you are south since I have not seen any open water around pool 10..

Those K-grubs are deadly……Looks like you had a real fun trip with a mixed bag. What depth did you find your fish?
You would think we were further south, but those bass were from good ol pool 4. Found a few shallow flats that had significantly higher water temps. Most of the water we covered was under 5′. On a side note, we lost about 3 times as many fish as we landed. They would pick up the grub and run with it, but not get hooked. Tried taking them quicker and then trying to feed em the bait both were met with similar results-no fish on.
I also played around with tubes, but the grubs by far got more bites.
Itching to get back and kick some more bass!!!!!
