im thinking about packing the boat and going out fishing tonight. Is it even worth it? i dont really care what kind of fish i would catch be it rough fish or walleye. just wondering if dragging a crawler on the bottom at night would yeild any fish or if it would be a waste of time?

We just got in from the lake got 3 bites all day long caught 7 between 8 and 9:30, most were small eyes and a couple unmentionables. We use lighted slip bobbers and a bare hook or jig head tipped with your choice of bait off the side of the boat. Anything that works during the day can and will work after dark and in most cases even better.

went out to pool 8 fished from 10-2 and got a couple sheepies, a carp a walleye that was the size of a panfish. But all in all it was a pretty good night, with pretty consistant bite from the sheepies.
