I was up on pool 4 a week ago, and did pretty good jigging leeches on the clam beds.

if you check Dustins and James report… they both have some up to date info…. upper pool 4 has been good on clam beds…. and it sounds like Pepin around maiden rock is starting to “rock”… the info those guys supply is very up to date and I would not hesitate to utilize it….. I know its been right on every time Ive used it…..

personally this is the BEST place Ive EVER found for no bullshit straight up and on time information…… not to mention the endless discussion of techniques….. Ive been on this board almost since its start… and Im not afraid to admit Ive learned lots……. and now when I hit the water its with a clear idea of whats working, where its working, and just HOW to work it……. and let me tell you…. its made a big difference to me…. over the years I had dialed in a FEW techniques that were effective for most of the year…. but I have really filled in the GAPS…….. and am now a fairly effective fisherman year round……

man…. I sure tend to ramble….. now StillaPUP will just tell you Im senile…. (or something like that!)…… but thats just cuz hes just a pup and he just cant relate to us OLD river rats……

    fishin fool

fished pool 5 on Saturday , 30 or so smallmouths on cranks, mostly rip rap, fish were very shallow, if you were 12″ from the bank you didn’t get fish.

Yes, Rivereyes has learned a lot and has shared a TON of that knowledge with all of here of THE BEST FISHING BOARD – PERIOD! But he’s more selective about sharing other knowledge when you start out fishing him. Things like knowing exactly when to run the troller over your line and where else to fish now that “you’ve” found a bite! He’s filled in gaps alright………………just ask his dentist! :O)

BAD DOG!!! down BOY!!…. id think youd have learned a lesson from como the tiger…. dont you be mauling anyone or we will just HAVE to put you down… tis the law boy!! the law!!! so even though your just a little nipper…. they will git ya!!!…..

sides…. whats wrong with cutting off your line once in a while… I was just trying to help you catch a big fish, cuz I was able to detect that you had not retied nearly often enuf….. so with my help you retied frequently enuf that had you caught a large fish you would have landed it….

its my understanding that it was not long after that you lost a big fish on another day….. no doubt because you had not retied often enuf!!! I was only trying to help!

    LOL
