    Don’t know how, but I managed to post this on Rainy River forum -oops. Anyhow, Rob and I caught a pair of 40# plus catfish during the FYB. Attached is pic of Rob with his 40.9# catfish. James Holst got pic of other one – perhaps he’ll post at a later date

    Both of them were caught on ringworms on 3/32 and 1/4 ounce jigheads

    This was not the only “Big Kitty” predator2 and Big dad saw this Sat. Here is a picture of the one Big dad caught while I was fishing beside them 2. What did it wigh Mike? I know it was in the 40’s. I think it broke my digital scale ….J/K of course!

    Was every bit of an interesting battle. Had the drag smokin’ for quite a while. Caught it on a jigging rod with 8# power pro. This fish weighed 42.7# on Dustin’s scale

    Just think how many little walleyes and saugers it takes to feed him on a daily basis. He was there following his food source ,and he is not a very picky eater.
