Never really used it but have been laid up here for a few days , so have been doing some reading on it. Tried looking on site for info on it but couldn’t bring any up. Would like to hear some info on it as far as first hand exp. From what I’ve read, sounds like it could be a good weapon to add. I’m thinking maybe more so on lakes than on the river where I do about 80% of my fishing. Basically most of the info. I’ve found on it is by company’s that make it, and they usually make things sound a lot better than they are. Thanks.

We have used this product and I highly recommend it, we use the paste for cranking and jigging. live rigging we use the sauce, they have a new gel formula that I am putting to the test.. Heck give Phil a call @ 1800ProCure. I can attest that Pro-Cure is tournament winning
    Good Luck

We used fish scent while fishing tip ups arournd the Menomonie, WI area while I was at college. It worked great on tip ups but while used with a pole it produced little. Now I live in the south central part of MN and it has not worked a lick. It adds good color and has to attract some fish.

I will only use Pro-Cure. It is the best around that I have found. I can fish behind other anglers and use the same bait that they are using and outfish them.

I have used the powerbait liquid and it seems to work sometimes. Mostly use it for crappies and there are days when I catch more fish than my brother who refuses to use it. We use the same bait and hole hop all day. I can follow him and catch fish right behind him.

Years ago I used to soak my plastics and hair jigs in a cool whip container. I put pure anise oil in it and let it set at least 24 hours before I fished. I used it mainly at night, but some day trips as well. It worked pretty good. I stopped I think because it was kinda messy and I usually did not soak the color I wanted fish the next day, changed my mind or whatever. Also, handling the drippy plastic made my hands cold. I may try it again come to think about it. It did work pretty well.

Yes it smells exactly lke licorice. I do not know why fish like that, but they do. I have heard of others doing the same thing using fish oil, but I never have. It has been a while since I used that stuff, but I may start again just to play around with it.

I’ve spiked ringies with Fish Formula(anise/licorice scent).Works well at night and dirty water.A little goes a long way.I’ll have to checkout Pro-cure sauce. They made awesome egg cure for steelhead fishing.

They should come out with willowcat sauce/butter.No more getting stuck by those critters

I had great success dipping the bottom 1/2 of a white spinnerbait skirt in Chartuese Spike-It. It’s a dye/scent formula. Worked really well plus you can get diff colors.
