I am needing to re-waterproof a canvas boat cover and before I did that I wanted to wash it. Does anyone know if laundramat washers are big enough to stuff in a boat cover? Is there some other alternative method that would work just as well?
When I wash the canvas top to my Alumacraft Trophy 190, I use Purple Cleaner from Carquest and a broom. I take the top off and put it on the ground and scrub it with the cleaner … full stringth. I let it sit and soak for a couple of minutes and then rinse. The canvas is grey and all the stains and spots come out. It looks like new! LOL…
