What size sinkers is everyone using on there 3 ways and floaters, spinners, baits ect. I have been using 2 ounce and am wondering if it’s to big to be using? Thanks for any info.

Hey, Erick I’m the guy reporting on the southern pools. No

your on track. I use 1-3 oz all the time. I even switch from

Bass style to Pencil weights as nessessary. Here’s the KEY,

let conditions tell you what to use. Current flow and rig control dictate the weight – over time you’l learn the feel as

your rig moves along the bottom. It’s kind of an easy lift fall

feeling you want, as oppossed to a sharp thud. Your line should be kept at 45deg angles for best results.

I like using 3oz. This may sound really heavy, but when you can fish 2 lines per it allows you to run off each side of the boat with minimal line out in deep depths. Then you can run two lead cores or snap weights further back without tyhe hassle of tangling when cornering or slowing.Hope this helps. By the way the only place you can find them is cabelas or bass pro and also joes sporting goods in st.paul.FISH ON!!!!
