Downtown Minneapolis

You will find good fishing all along that stretch of the river. Directly across from the East Bank campus, in front of the underground book depository is a good spot. Directly below the hospital is also a good multispecies section. There is a walking trail below there along the East Bank which gives you good access to a couple of spots. If you bring waders the trail gives you access to even more good smallmouth spots on that side of the river. Good Luck.

Thanks for the info. I have been on the walking path below the hospital. The river looks like a “straight shot” of swiftly moving water…not what I am used to on Pool 4.
