Where is Colville Park located in Redwing? Need directions for both land & water. Haven’t made up my mind which mode of transportation to use yet. I’ll be coming up from Camp Lacupolis.

    Leo,

I may be going out on a limb here but I think it’s right along the river……………..just kidding! You knew that much already! I can’t locate it but I thought a printable map was placed on the site for us? Anyone? Otherwise, go to maps.com and get directions from home to Red Wing. On the Red Wing portion of you directions, just start zooming in and it will include park names as part of the detail. It’s really user friendly and should answer your question. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Just as you pass the Red Wing Juvenile Detention Center going North on hyw 61, the park entrance is on your left. (About a mile south of town) If you go all the way into downtown Red Wing, you have gone too far.

By water, as you go upstream from the lake in the marked channel. It’s on your left hand side (MN Side) just as you enter the no-wake. You will see the rip rap shorline start there. If you go past Bills Bay Marina, you have gone too far.

Leo, By car, Coming from Lacoupolis, just before you get into Red Wing there’s a Days Inn motel, hang a left just past motel, then a right, you should be able to see the colville park sign from here. You have to go under the highway and your there. The ramp is at the east end of park.

By boat, Its around 3 or 4 miles up from the bouy line. When you get to the first no wake zone colville is in the harbor to the left. Hope this helps. Hawg
