Not getting on those waters personally, I’m not much help. But I do know that I have relatives that swear by lily pad bassin’ on Staples Lake. I also know that some (if not all) the waters you mentioned are included in the Northwestern Wisconsin edition of (Hot spots?) ……………….well, one of those white covered, ring bindered, map books you see at Fleet Farm, Gander Mountain, and Galyans. There’s some decent information in that book. I have one and it’s come in handy! For pike and such, well, again I think I’m absent of anything useful for you but if you travel a little, there’s a lot of river to choose from. From Cumberland to the Flambeau, Chippewa, Apple, Thornapple Flowage, Dairyland Flowage…………….there’s some great offerings within 1 to 1.5 hours. Some of those are included in the map book as well. Look one over! Anyway, I hope you find better info than this, but I figured I should mention what little I am aware of. Here’s to a grand adventure!……………..CLANK!………….glug, glug, glug……………..*smack*………………..AHHHhhhhhhh………….
