Way cool…. EFN has now “hooked-up” with Otter Outdoors!
All EFN Pro-Staff can get into a new OtterSled / Ice Fishing House under a promotional agreement just made. I want to thank EFN Pro-Staff Jon Navratil for his efforts to make this happen.
Otter has long set the standard for ice fishing with their line of sleds. Their products are built tough…. and carry a three year warranty to boot.
This tougher-than-nails sled turns into a canvas tent ice house in just seconds. With the four sizes of Otter Ice Fishing Houses and great accessories (including a bench seat option for my back )… our EFN Pro-Staff will be fishing in pure comfort…. not to mention going FIRST CLASS ALL THE WAY!
FYI… all the EFN Pro-Staff who go on the program with Otter this year will most likely sell their used products BEFORE the end of this year’s ice season. They’ll do this to get new ones for next year… so watch for some “real deals” going out from our staff on used Otter Sleds & Otter Ice Fishing Houses.
I have sold mine all ready… and have not even picked it up yet!
It is great to have them support EFN and our Pro-Staff… WELCOME ABOARD OTTER OUTDOORS.
Have not seen an Otter yet? Well, you “Otter”would be my guess. See the attachment…

Great job Dave and Jon ! How about a day trip to OTTER Outdoors to meet the owners to spread some Good Will, and maybe pick up our new product ?

I too will be purchasing an Otter sled. I love to Ice Fish and can’t wait to try one of these fantastic sleds out

If anyone would be intrested in picking theirs out thru me send me a pm . I would need to share this unit and do product reviews with it. I’m sure we could work out a deal.

I’m not trying to rush the fall fishing but the Hard Water fishig is sounding pretty good !!

I have had my otter for 5 years and love it. Great canvas, tough sled, and I have no complaints about it. I think it is a better product that the Fish Traps. The only problem I have with it is that I can’t fish the Trap attacks without fear of discrimination.LOL.

I also have had a otter sled now for 4 years. I love it, all your stuff stays inside while pulling it up and down shore lines. Picks up into the truck without takeing everything out. You can pop the top up part way for wind protection, or moveing around. You can drill 4 full holes and one for a live-well. I really enjoy it, some people just sit home all winter! Just my 2 cents worth.

Bill I believe its the Otter. II. I fish with the same guy you seen me with at 4 seasons. Or when you see me on pool 4. Both of us are 6 foot or a little better, and go about 215 to 240 pounds. Yeah we are big boys, both fit in and have enough room to fish easy, I bought a [the keeper dlx] for sitting on instead of the 5 gal. bucket. This I really like also, it has a place in the back to hold 4 poles, no more broken rods! Up front there is a compartment for storage, and under the seat another one. I use that one for my jigs, and such. I also fish with a vexlar unit and am very happy with it. Bill tell your daughters Hi for me.

Thanks for the info Bud. ps. What would you say the sled, canvas, and seat combo weigh without the fishing gear? Thanks, Bill

I have been out of the ice fishing thing for a few years now. What do they cost and where is the best place to buy one. I have seen fish traps and other brands but never the Otter. I am sure thats just because I haven’t been looking.

WOOLYBUGGER… I checked and they are available at:
    Mills Fleet Farm
    Gander Mountain
    Cabela’s Retail
    Thorne Brothers
    Prince Marine
    L&M Supplies
    Marine General Supply
    Running Supply
I think you can shop round and find a “retail deal” close to you.

You EFN Pro-Staffers who want to sell your used Otter Sleds / Ice Fishing Houses (after the season ends this year) could do so on the EFN Classifieds… you could go ahead and post em there as soon as you pick em up .

Bill I don’t have the seat setup on my sled. I think the weight of the sled is about 53 lbs. After that its how much stuff you take out, And how much does a kitchen sink weigh ? Some times it seem like we have everything plus!
