Pepin Levels and bite?

    Anyone been on the lake recently? Everts continues to keep me/us abreast of the conditions up their
    way….much appreciated. Good luck all, I plan on hitting the river soon.

    Jim,

    I am not sure how many anglers that have been out on 4 recently with the water levels. But up here on Pool 2 the bite has been mainly in the backwater cuts and lakes. The main river channel bite has slowed dramatically for me with the higher water. I have been out 4-5 times a week up here for the last month and a half and have noticed a crank and 3-way bite to be the only “go to” right now for producing numbers as well as some nice 25″+ fish.

    I know this is not Pool 4 info but hopefully this can help you in your planning for your next visit to 4?
