Have your club’s river outing in 2003 in Alma WI

    As a fisherman and a member of the Alma WI Chamber of Commerce, I am inviting your club, be it bass or walleye or any other river species, to have a tournament or just a fun weekend in Alma WI, right on the dam between Pools 4 and 5. There is lodging, fuel and a good landing on each pool. And a river full of fish. For information, call me, John Griffiths, at 608-248-2782 or e-mail me at [email protected].     I wouldn’t consider that a AD he was just letting every one know what Alma has to offer. he wasn’t trying to sell anything!! and Alma is a great place fish very good pool and way underfished.

    No Ad in there that I can see. Generally Chamber of Commerce isn’t a “business” anyway. It supports other business.

    I would think EFN would want to be nice to this guy!lol

    I did not mean to be a jerk to him. I thought I was being polite and went at it kinda joke-ing-ly…. with the thing.

    I do want to be nice to this guy…. and promote fishing in his area of WI.

    I want him as a “regular” and do welcome him to the site.

    So… Redchampion, please accept my sincere apoligy for being rude. And… please share more with us more about Alma.

    I must disagree with you though, Jim W. “Have your club’s river outing in 2003 in Alma WI” followed by a I am on the “Chamber”, and a phone #, and Eaddress….. seemed like an ad for the Chamber to me.

    I was a member of the Owatonna Chamber of C. for twenty years. I paid aprox $100.00 a year to start and ended up paying over $300.00 annually…to the Owatonna Chamber. The Chamber in Owatonna is a business. As a business, it promotes Owatonna…. and charges its members to do so. And, the Owatonna Chamber spends money on ads in doing such promotions.

    I also know that it is the policy of EFN not to allow ads on this forum cause I got my rear popped for it many times… except my ads/posts were simply deleted on the most part. As were many others.

    It is my job to sell the ads here on EFN. Excuse me for being me… but I thought I was just doing my marketing job. I will try to be much nicer to these good folk visiting our sites.

    FYI guys… I did get hold of him on the phone today… he is a very nice person and enjoys fishing… I shot him a price for an ad banner on EFN’s FTR and FTL sites… Made him a “real deal”. John is very interested in promoting Alma and likes EFN.

    Nice guy… Good meeting him… I may just have to look him up and take him fishing next trip to Alma .
