Good chance I will be hitting the river on Sunday afternoon. Just thought I would see if anyone else
might be headin’ out. We could get a small gathering or walleye search and destroy team put together for
the afternoon.
So if your hitting it, get back and we’ll work something out. Pool 4, maybe 5.

Tried Pool 5 for the first time. Accessed out of West Newton. Began fishing the wing dams directly across form the in-flow form West NEwton.
We managed a legal walleye on our way out of the channel in 2-3 feet of slack water on a 3 inch white twister. Other than that we managed a few
white bass a nice 2-3 pound smallie and one sauger focusing in on the wingdams up from West Newton to the first main bend in the channel about 1/2 mile.
I plan on learning some more this weekend if anyone wants to meet up.
