Boat landing pool 7, 6, 5a

    I like to know what are the best (no charge) boat landings for fishing these pools.

    Dick’s marina on 6. Theres a couple other there to but thats the nicest.
    All I know for 7 is at trempeleu.
    5a…McNalleys, or the Verkota landings on the MN dike on the way bottom end are real nice.

    How is the access to the main channel from McNalleys and Verkota landings.

    McNalleys is a ways from the channel without any bouys. Verkota is a ways too but has more bouys to guide you. If your worried about that I would say go to Bass Camp and pay the 7 bucks and not worry about it. Otherwise Fountain city has a couple that are free too.

    Actually the main one in Fountain City that was just redone is 3 bucks per day, or 30 for the year.

    Also some rocket scientist that built it put a rock of concrete mound or something about 10 feet off the end of the northern dock, hit it with the motor on Saturday and killed the motor on it. So BE CAREFUL idling around there.
