Got out a daylight. tried trolling raps for walleyes in 6-12 feet from maple springs to lacupolis.Not a bite. Went south and tried a few wingdams near reeds. Current very strong, no eyes.Saw a lot of boats fishing wisconsin side of channel across from lacupolis.Checked it out,and they are fishing for white bass.It was like fishing below the dam in the spring when the walleyes are there.These people are pretty agressive after those white bass. The whites break surface after shad and 15 boats race to the spot.Guys are trolling between the boats drifting.It is crazy.We caught a couple ,and left. If you like combat fishing,this is the place.
