Falling Rock Bar & Blackwater Fishing Float

Hi to all again.Sorry I haven’t been around much this summer but the bar bussiness has been keeping the wife and I real busy.Now that the summer is nearing its end I’ll be around more.We’ve been putting an addition on the Bar so in the near future we will have a full kitchen starting at 6am
with breakfast.(anybody want to cook so I can fish)I did get out for a while yesterday and there are a few fish showing up around the dam,not in large numbers yet.

The report from the Float is that early evening and early morning the eyes are around.Bluegill,bass,sheephead and a few strippers are also being caught.The Float is open and they have spent most of the summer repairing.They have completed 3 sections so far and are still working on the rest.If you are interested you can contact the bar and we can take reservations for overnite fishing.

Congradulations on the up-date on the Bar !! I can’t wait till this fall, have a nice breakfast before headdin out in the AM or even coming in after an evening of pig walleye action only to sit down to a big breakfast…..Sounds good Len

I stop into the Famous FRB about every other week and you would not believe the huge amount of work and long hours that Len has been putting in. The roof alone would have been a six month job for me. The place is really in great shape and the kitchen and seating is gonna really add that little extra Len has been building toward. With the great reputation the food and drink already has there I’m sure it will be a must stop place for more and more of us ,plus the man and his wife are just plain good,(nice),people. Lawrence

I hope to get out there to check out the changes. The Falling Rock has always been a nice place to come in and have a drink and talk with all the customers. I am confident that having breakfast availble will only add to your great establishment. Hope to see you soon.
