My son’s first fish!!!

    Today was a pretty special day in my family. My son, Gavin, caught his first fish and my wife and I are quite proud of our little angler.

    So the important facts– We were on Pool 8 and Gavin (who’ll be three at the end of this month) was using his Zebco with a small jig, wax worm, and a bobber. The prized catch was a 12″ mooneye (or skipjack as we called them in SD).

    What a great way to start this Father’s Day weekend.

    I’m glad you have a picture! I often look back at my daughters first fish…a crappie while ice fishing. She walked around to every car and told everyone about it….

    You will treasure that moment…
