I finally got the kids out to the big river for their first time today. We also had to take the new truck out and see how it pulled the boat I met Bret on the road as he was leaving and he reported the eyes were on the chew. I had the kids with so we just wanted to catch any fish that wanted a crawler. The wind really prevented us from anchoring anywhere We ended up with a handful of small sheepies and very small crappies. We then decided to take a boat ride down to the blue bridge. It was fun to cruise around and the kids had more fun cruising than fishing

Great pictures. Its good to get out with the kids. My bunch is a little tough to take on a serious fishing trip so we always need to plan other activietys in order to make it a peaceful trip. Was able to get mine out on the upper croix yesterday and had some fun with the white bass.

Great looking family Wats……Nice truck too! Its great you take the kids out like that. It would be so easy to ditch them knowing that you could have better fishing by yourself or with a bud, but your time spent with them now, will never be forgotten by either them or you. ………Good Fishin’ ……..Murf

It was nice to see them having fun out there. I promised them all week I would take them out. By Sunday they were ecstatic
I can’t beleive the power difference between my Ford and the new Chevy. So far I am happy with the switch from Ford to Chevy. The extra room is great for hauling the curtain climbers around. Now we can fish the river instead of going to the lake. But, now I need to upgrade their fishing rods to be able to handle fish bigger than bluegills
