I have an opportunity to fish Lake Pepin this weekend for the first time in years.I have no idea where I might find a hotel room, other then the Super 8,for the wife and I.The closer to the walleye bite the better. It does not need to be fancy.I’d hate to drive 5 hours and not be able to find a place to stay. Thanks!John Miller,McHenry,Il.

Press the F5 key on your pc until the Everts resort banner shows up at the top of the page…then click on it.

Assuming you are staying in Lake City….

For a clean room at a resonable rate try:

    Lake-Aire Motel

Hwy. 61, 917 North Lakeshore Dr.

    651-345-4586

Other hotels are listed at http://www.lakecitymn.org

    Good luck.

If you are camping then go to Smitty’s Campground across the road from the lake. If not, then like Jon said Lake Air Motel. Nice rooms and nice people.

Thanks for the plugs guys….appreciate it! Just to let you know “OOC”, I am full this weekend. Sorry. While i’m at it….i’m gonna do a little “plug” for EFN and also give a heads up to all you fisherpersons planning on a trip to Red Wing this fall. Due to the TREMENDOUS impact FTR has had on Everts Resort and business here, I am getting booked up pretty solid here….especially in October. So if you’re planning on booking a cabin here this fall, you better hurry! For any of you businesses out there that are contemplating on advertising with EFN………you won’t be disappointed! OK OK…I better stop before they raise my rates! Thanks again!

If staying on Pepin call the sunset at 651-345-5331. If looking for fish call Everts ASAP!!!!!!!
