Big News…Frontenac Tourney now an RCL qualifier!

That’s right guys, Sonny Reynolds, RCL Tournament Director, announced it today. The Frontenac Sportsman’s Walleye and Sauger Classic will be a qualifying event for the RCL Championship in Red Wing this year.

This means the top Ranger, Crestliner, or Lund in the tournament can enter the RCL Championship in Red Wing this fall, first place is $400,000. They confirmed one pro slot and one co-angler slot.

If you need info on entering the Walleye and Sauger Classic let me know, or just sign up at the pre tourney meeting. It’s at 7:00pm August 9th at the American Legion in Lake City (224 Washington St.)

The Tournament is August 10th, 7:00am to 3:00 pm. Entry fee is $60, we also have an optional $10 big fish pot. Payout is 100%

If there is anyone interested in fishing the Frontenac Sportsman’s 10th Annual Walleye & Sauger Classic, you can sign up at the Orientation meeting on Friday, Aug. 9th in Lake City at the American Legion (224 Washigton St. South)at 6:30 PM. We are expecting around 80 boats!!!
