I like the river pool stage feature on the home page but don’t know what is the “normal” stage for any of those sites except Lansing, which used to be 7.7. Does anyone know what they are or where they can be found. This would come in handy since different parts of the river are at various flows at any given time.

La Crosse is normally 4.9 to 5.5 from here on out(ice) if that helps. Most pools are probably a few inches to a foot or foot and a half higher than normal right now. If you really want to track it click on stage and flow from the top of the home page and read the flow readings that is the real nugget of info you want anyway. I like it between 25-35000 cfs.

I was out on pool 8 today and its really starting to clean up and the flows are coming down nicely. We are somewhere around 42,000 cfs right now and eyes are on the dams. I caught 4 eyes throwing cranks on dams today. Lost a brute a couple nights ago…a real bruiser that I could barely move. most fish are coming from right in the boil line on fat raps.
