Shore fishing in Grant county

    I’m going to school at UW-Platteville and would like to try shore fishing the miss. sometime in the next couple weeks. Don’t want to drive too far and don’t have the boat out here so any tips or pointers on where to start would be of great help. Would like to target eyes but anyting is better than nothing.

    The Wisconsin river would provide more areas to fish from Land. The Boscobel Boat landing is a great spot.

    Lake O’leary would be a good choice this time of year. Its located on the Wisconsin side of lock n dam #11. All species are present…even fish the wall of the lock for walleye/sauger! Pick your poison and have a good time.

    Thanks guys for the tips. I tried today over by potosi but we had no luck. Saw some carp jumping but that was it.
