Is this weekend worth going to lynxville dam?

I heard the river is bad ,could someone give me an honest answer on if its worth having friends drive 2-3 hours to fish or should we change the date ..thanks for any help…TT

Nope is the answer… here is the reason if the link works… Click Here Otherwise jsut look at it this way – the output is near to 100,000 cfs – when the fishing was good it was more like 25 – 30, 000. Not worth it in my book. Sorry – better concentrate on killing a turkey…. Chuckles

I’d say this weekend is shot, maybe next will be ok. Gas here in LaCrosse is now $2.25.9(why cant they be honest and round up to 2.26?)

Sounds like it is going to be a bad weekend for pool 10. We have a tourny there for the GNWC so some of us don’t have a choise. We have to be there. I heard there might be about 50 boats in it.

Not sure if this helps. I think one pool is just as good as another right now. I am still catching eyes. They are holding in 4-6FOW and hitting plastics hard. The river did crest today and is on the way down for pools 8 and 9.

You can still get a boat in across from the bar and the float has had some good fishing over the last few days.Our bartender was out yesterday and had a limit of nice sauger in a couple of hours off of the float.I’ll be out this afternoon on the float and hope to have some good pics
