After 25yrs+ of guiding and professional fishing, I’d thought I’d seen it all !! Friday’s BB/BS event was GREAT !!
I got assigned a cute little 8yr old. I figured I’d have my hands full ! Well I did. First she was interviewed by the TV media—when asked if she caught anything—she proclaims the fact that she caught a Walleye——but it was smaller than the Walley Diver she was trolling with ! Next after lunch, we go out again. I let her pick the trolling lure she wanted to use—she picks the gawdiest Reef Runner out of the box. Now I let her (with my guidence)run the trolling kicker. She runs about 20′ “Blamo Fish On” she reels in a nice 17″ eye !!
It was a great day, a great event, a lot of fun for me and the kids !!! Thanks All
