Got a real dirty, grime-ridden, alge stained, filthy boat?

Going to come to the EFN FTR Get-Togeather?

    Wait…

    Do not clean it up…

Nautical Ease has sponsored a contest that you may just win!

The EFN Pro-Staff will conduct a hand count vote contest to decide the “dirty boat of the day” at Everts Resort, Saturday at 1:30pm.

1). The boat must have been “used” on the river that day at the EFN Get-Togeather (boat needs to be running & working…no beached whales).

2). The boat needs to be 20 feet or under in lingth.

3). The boat must be pulled out of the water and and be on a trailer at Everts, following the decission of the EFN Staff / judges.

Now the fun part… Nautical Ease boat care products will provide the cleaning products for the EFN Staff to clean-up/detail your boat on the spot… following the contest!

Yes, the EFN Staff will all pitch in and clean up your boat! This will take all day, you say? Na, not with Nautical Ease boat care products… it’ll be a snap!

Nautical Ease is sending our EFN Staff… hull cleaner, water spot remover, boat spray cleaner, vinal spray cleaner… and a list of their other fine products that will make short work of the tough job.

You best bring a photo of your boat from back whan it was new… so you’ll recognize it after the EFN Staff is done! Cause when it is clean, you will not know your old boat from a new one!

Nautical Ease will also be shipping the winner of the EFN Dirty Boat Contest an assortment of their boat care products following the contest.

(Ok, Staff… no going to town after lunch… I will have a little job for you guys! )

I didn’t do a search of the archives to find the guy that asked some time back about the Nautical Ease products… he wanted to know if he needed to use a wire brush with the cleaners!~ An early prediction…If that guy shows…. his boat wins!

I’ve never seen a boat that needed a “wire brushing” to get it clean. Yikes…

Sounds like fun Hawger. Actually, lets see how much of the work we can get Steve Vick to do while we supervise!

Unfortunately, I will be fishing from ProTiller’s boat – otherwise I could bring about 50 lbs of scum from Coralville along for the ride on mine.

Does Nautical Ease make something that will take it off my legs after swimming?

Well I never thought there would be a down side having ordered the nautical ease cleaners and putting them to work. But I guess there is. H20, I remember the post about the metal scub brush too. I hope he reads this post, I would agree he would have to be the favorite to win. Who knows, maybe the EFN staff should have a few metal brushes on hand just incase he does make it and its as bad as he says.
    Nahhh.

The Dirty Boat Contest did not happen…. sorry.

My fault. I was someplace in a distant back-water doing a bit of fishing when I asked Mudlinthru for the time… it was 1:30 on the dot… yep, I let the time slip away from me… just as I do every time I go fishing.

When I did return to Everts, about an hour later, most all the boats seemed to all be gone… this was of course… as the tournament was still on (it should not have been hard for me to figure that one… duh…) But, I asked several of the folks round to see if the vote was taken… and it had not.

“Mavs” gave me a ride from the dock to the tent in the “VIP Transport” / golf-cart… and I thought… hum… perhaps he should just win by “proxy” as he would have most likely won the contest anyway… so… I fixed him up with all the samples that were sent by Nautical Ease.

I hope he lets us know how the products worked on his boat… when and if he ever does get to cleaning his boat up .

Trust me, Chappy would have won, HANDS DOWN!
We had to launch at TI so no one would see his boat!
