The pooh bear is SATURDAY

Those of you interested in a tournament, the pooh bear is saturday. It is only $25 per person which includes a great dinner afterwards. There are already 50 boats signed up, but we still have room so get in touch with scott at 952-210-3803 or me at 612-508-6216. We also have a few great raffles afterwards with 2 or 3 guns, 5 prints, and much much more. It is alot of fun and is a very laid back tournament with great community support as you will see by all the donations. And there is no better cause than to come out and remember a great friend of all of ours, Paul Martin, and to support two things he loved most The red wing wildlife league and the red wing ameature hockey association. So if you have time this saturday and cannot fish stop at the elks and take part in the raffle after the tournament. It should all get going around 4 or 4:30. The weigh- in is next to the Harbor Bar anyone is welcome to come watch the parade of big fish.

The tournament is also filling fast so if you are interested call soon. We are well ahead of last year’s pace. The print package from wild wings for the banquet and raffle afterwards is 8 prints not 5 as earlier stated. Like i said earlier you don’t have to fish to take part in the raffle afterwards so stop down to the elks after the tournament.

As Chris stated we have about 60 boats registered..I would encourage anyone who is able, to stop down to Ferrin’s Furiture Store by 5:00 Friday to register..in case we get too many Saturday. Considering almost 100 business’s donate prizes our raffle is getting impressive. We have 8 very nice prints, 2 guns, a weekend vacation package, $1000 worth of furniture, $500 Cabella’s gift certificates, a lot of rods and reels, any pair of RW boots, some very very nice things I am sure I am forgetting. We usually pay $500 for first place..and go down to 8th or so..it just always depends, as we make our donations priority…numbers look good enough to be atleast that, maybe more!!
