Here’s a link to a web cam that shows the new I-494 bridge spanning the Mississippi river. The view is looking downstream.
I think the site is sponsored by the MN DOT. You can also get historical images. You have to click the little box above the time, not the time itself. It’s kind of interesting going back to the winter months and watching how the ice forms and melts.

You’re welcome. There was a television program about the bridge construction on one of the local access channels and they mentioned it there. This internet thing has some pretty cool stuff out there.
By the way, my buddy and I did poorly on P4 Saturday afternoon/evening. We had a little, quick action right after dark and then nothing else except a huge Mooneye. I do think it may have came close to state record Mooneye. This fish was three times bigger than any Mooneye I’ve ever caught before. I should have weighted it with my digital scale just to see but it wasn’t hooked in the mouth 
so it couldn’t be considered anyway.

I agreee with Jon. I will be on this webpage several times a day now. THis will be nice for checking ice conditions for the remainder of this year!
